1974 Cheyenne motor swap
I have a wrecked 2001 5.3 silverado donor truck that ran wonderful before hitting a deer at 70. What odds and ends do I need to pull from that truck to put the motor and tranny into a 1974 chevy c10. And what do i need to buy to make it a running, driving truck. Any help would be great

Welcome to the site!
You will need to grab the entire engine wire harness and PCM. There are several aftermarket suppliers that can assist with things like engine mounts, adapter plates if you are going to run something other that the '01 transmission, and gauge interfacing. Biggest thing with the LS engine is that you will need to upgrade to an electric fuel pump with a 58 psi supply pressure. I think it's Aeromotive that makes a slick new drop in cartridge style pump that fits old school gas tanks.
