So...I was getting dressed and my wife called me "she was already headed to work" and she told me we had like 6 or 7 cops in the front of the neighborhood with some truck pulled over. I didnt think anything of it...I drove out of our neighborhood and sure enough they had all the doors open on an older tacoma and had the rear bed cover opened up too. I saw 2 or 3 local cops, 2 state troopers, and 1 detective. I still didnt think much of it because my neighborhood is off a pretty busy highway and its not that uncommon to see a car pulled over in the front of our neighborhood. Fast forward to 30mins ago and I get an email from the neighborhood watch people...turns out the dude who drove the truck that got pulled over had been driving around in our neighborhood since like 5am and was freaking out on meth. He got out of his truck around 630am and started walking through people's yards with a crow bar...a guy in the front of our neighborhood confronted him and the guy went back to his truck and proceeded to drive around in our neighborhood until the cops showed up.

He was tweaking on meth...thought people in "black coats" were chasing him. This could have gotten really bad really quick...kids were getting on school buses and people were heading to work.

This goes to show that this stuff can happen anywhere...I live in one of the nicest areas you can live in around Nashville.
