Yep. I missed third once I felt the car sliding out from underneath me. Lol. I kind of freaked out.

I'm going to have my tuner turn that back on or just invest in a shift light. Not that that won't prevent missing a gear.

Once I get things tested and checked out, I'm fine racing until spring. Period. No more for me until I get my suspension under control.

Just put longer pushrods in. You'll be fine.

Good dinner for the GDCC tonight. Got skunked on Chinese -- apparently a reservation was required, so we eneded up with pizza and wings.

    1. Always run 93
    2. Bouncing off the rev limiter = bent pushrods
    3. Over-revving once in awhile without a limiter won't hurt the motor, but bent pushrods will.

I don't know about okc, but in my area of OK, 93 is hard to find. I almost always got stuck with 91. I tried with and without octane booster, didn't notice any real difference in drive and gas mileage. But 89...that happened once when I first got my car...never happened again. You'd have thought I put diesel in it

That's a station in okc on the northside that has 93 and race fuel. Plus electric plug in's, different types of diesel, e85....pretty much everything. But it's so far away.

Reasons not to live in OK...

91 would be fine...89, no...I'd rather slam my dick in a car door.

I ran a mix of 93 and 110 at the track a few weeks ago, I forgot how much I love the smell of race fuel.

We interviewed 4 applicants for a position with our office this evening. Have 3 or 4 more next week to interview. Can't say that I especially like this aspect of owning a business. In other news... the cold and rain are hindering my intended car shuffle project. Weekend is not looking much better.

What position are you interviewing for, Jeff? You need a collection agent? Or someone to burst into the courtroom just as the judge is about to read the verdict, and introduce a new piece of evidence for a dramatic effect?

Then yesterday I decide to see what's up. Bought new plugs and wires.

The new Ngk's were shorter than these auto lites and all my plugs looked fine but these 3, which are the back 3 on the drivers side.

Going to take off my intake and valve covers and check for other damage and compression test next week. About to get an ice storm here and it's cold.
