Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
Little update, haven't had much time to do much the past two weeks but finally got around to finishing up the motor and order a few last couple odds and ends.
Pressure plate and flywheel look great and so no need to replace those, clutch disk on the other hand is about .005" from the rivets so there's a new one on the way.
Little addition thanks to xssv, have about 120 ft of braided wire sleeving on the way.
These should also show up this week, GMPP valve covers and a billet specialties breather cap.
Need longer wires and will most likely end up fabbing some coil relocation brackets later on.

I'm still going to use the stock ones for now, those will go on sometime after the build is done.
Between powdercoat, new wires and brackets it will most likely wait but for one bill i couldn't pass em up

Just swap out for a blue TA and we have almost the same pic
Just waiting on the correct head bolts so I can install them and measure for push rods.
Got the replacement LS2 damper on.

Nice. Looks like we'll be up and running pretty soon.
Clutch disk should be here Tuesday basically the only thing keeping me from mating the trans. Once the writer harness its sorted out I can throw her back together. Wait has been killing me

either joe or compcam. I post a thread in General Help to see what others input would be. Maybe FBJ, Cutlass or Ed might chime in.
I looked a little in Sarge Oil thread but didn't see anything related to break in.

Ill most likely run vr1 since my entire bottom end is untouched. If you haven't already check out Bob is the oil guy, I'm sure there's plenty of info on break in there

Couple boxes finally made it in. Valve covers showed up as well as the new clutch disk and wire loom. Hoping to finish the harness this Saturday and maybe get the K Member finished up on Sunday.

Finished up the harness yesterday and it did take up a good amount of the day but it looks good. Used zip ties at the breaks but I'm most likely going to go back over them with harness tape for a cleaner look.

Wide awake tonight so what better than to keep ordering more stuff. Although it's probably not necessary I ordered 6 quarts of vr1 10-30 and a few other last minute arrivals which should show up here in the next week or two.
Should get a real good start on assembling the from end soon. Will have progress pics hopefully in the later hours of today

Understand, spent all day running all over picking up or dropping off stuff for/from the car.
Sold my LS2 flywheel off the LS7 clutch kit. $40
Picked up the 8.8 rear from the welder....
Tomorrow I go drop off the transmission to get worked on. I don't mess with them...
