this has gained a lot of popularity in just the last few years. I just don't get it myself.......few rock chips and it's looking like a dogs ass in no time. I saw someone on the truck board that had dipped just his grill and had a picture of it 2 years later and it looked like shit with all the chips and peeling. Do you really want to respray your car every 2 years?

Not my car, and if i did it would last months if that. After several coats it's supposed to be quite durable. I've heard some good stuff about it it but at the same time some not so great.
Seeing as the people who did the ones in this video are minutes from my house i may stop by for the hell of it.

I can see bank robbers using this on their get away car...just pull over and peel. I want to use it on my wheels but there's just no way it'll hold up off road or when rotating tires.

Because the front-end resembles a vacuum cleaner of some sort?
Hopefully you'd at least repaint it....or give it to your wife

for a bugatti I'd drive it no matter what paint job it had

to me really there's not much separation between the bugatti and someone that takes a $50-60k BMW and puts $500 worth of cheap shit on the outside of it and cuts the mufflers off to make it sound like a garbage truck

I would have guessed this thread would have been started by blackSS01.
Looks like it's time to reconsider tatertot's tech team status.

that m3 came out really nice from what the vid shows. stuff like that seems to be more designed for the cars that get like 1k miles a year. i couldnt imagine those cars driven on even a seasonal basis with how easy you can peel it off.

Just stirring up some curiosity
I do like how the m3 came out, I will be looking more as to how long it can last.

I went through the replies and found when asked how durable this is the seller or the person that presented the video did not reply..
A few of the questions about durability were flagged as spam as well.
First red flags..imo
Then there's this comment.. Which was flagged also..
"I BOUGHT THE BIGGEST KIT...PAYED ALMOST $500. THIS WAS ON 6/25 IT'S BEEN 25 DAYS AND IT HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED! I SPOKE WITH BENNETT BOGARD HE SAID THEY HAVE 5500 ORDERS AND DOESN'T KNOW WHEN MINE WILL BE SHIPPED. IM BEYOND PISSED OFF!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ALMOST A MONTH! AND DON'T KNOW IF I'LL EVER GET MY KIT! IF YOU PLAN ON ORDERING KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU'LL WAIT AND WAIT.....fonzie SHIP MY ORDER! I PAYED ALREADY! OR IS THIS A SCAM I'M STUPID FOR ORDERING SOMETHING THAT I SAW ON YOUTUBE!"
"White PlastiDip turns into a yellow color and destroys all my plastic surfaces. Thx Plastidip!"
"Hey Fonzie - I love your work and the videos are great, but...I emailed you 2 weeks ago. Whats this about saying that you are very responsive? I am still waiting??"
Personally I would'nt do an entire vehicle with this stuff untill it has been proven to last, for even one day..
Could be trolls but ehh idk..
just my .02

Luckily the people that made this video are on my way home from work. Better to see it in person along with any long term effects before I touch my wallet.
