I did the mityvac a little bit today and it helped a little, i think from pulling air out. I will fully bleed it this weekend. I think an adjustable master would be a good investment since my clutch engages right when you get off the floor.. Cutlass its a Monster level 4 clutch.

yeah, engagement that low isn't good...but itll also move up a little once the clutch gets some miles on it...you said its new right?

This would be the case for something like an ls7, monster clutches dont adjust the same way. Op was the master and slave replaced with the clutch swap?

I think you nailed the answer right there. It seems like the clutch engagement is a little low. Also seems to be a good idea to get an adjustable Master anytime an aftermarket clutch is used. And like FBJ and Tick have found out, its all about fluid flow and adjustability. If you get the Ram Master, look at it and see if you can find a flow restriction and open it up like FBJ's pal did.

No it was not. As far as i know its stock. When i bought the car it had a RAM clutch in it so i dont know if the previous owner swapped them out or not.. Anyway to check without dropping the tranny?

Great sticky! I've just run into this problem and needless to say between this thread and the LS7 clutch thread I got pretty much all my answers!
