Good thing they came out alright. BTW, the rims/wheels look ok. You should try and get them off the car if your son is looking for another one. At least have a back up set of tires. The treads look good.

Maybe a V6 model for right now, still get the looks, might make mom happy with less motor.

    Just a thought.

Thats what im thinking a V6 and put those wheels on it. I know my son he is going to wont another Z28. I can fine a V6 way cheaper than a V8.

You're kidding me! What an asshat...

Do the cops have any leads? I can't believe anyone could cause such an accident and just keep going. I mean, I know it happens all the time. But, I couldn't imagine doing such a thing.

All my son could give them was the color and make of the car that cut them off.He did tell me that it was a lady that seen the hold thing, he got her phone number, but when we call her she said she dont remember anything.

That's odd... Interesting that she doesn't remember anything. Something seems fishy there

The first thing you need to do after a hit and run is get as many witnesses as possible.

Did it happen in an area where near by businesses might have the accident recorded or possibly the car going by around the time of the accident?

Congratulations on your kids being alright.

As for your wife, just let her know that the reason that they were safe was because they were in a sports car that was designed to be safer than an economy car. GM understands that some body less responsible than your sons would do something stupid and built the car better to prevent liablilty.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like your kids are lying about what happened. A lady doesn't remember? Come on now.

That much damage to their car, but the other car just drove away undamaged? Come on again.

By the looks of the car, they were probably hot-rodding and lost control and are trying to blame the accident on someone else.

Kids will be kids. In the end, all that matters is they are OK.

For the record, I'm not trying to be a dick here. I am just pointing out what I see as the obvious based on the info here.

It's not the kids that is lying.. It's the lady, I spoke to her and she says she can't remember. I think she just don't want to get involved.

Damn... That's a zoo to begin with. Could have been a lot worse with the amount of traffic that road sees. I'm glad they're ok!
