Took her to school today... Older man (mid 30's) revved at me in his Moostang with the usual 40 series Flowmaster with dumps and a Roush bodykit, I revved back then we get to the next light and he never turns to look at me...

Hey Jeff, howz it goin'?. Just my .02, I'm pretty sure i have a sticker on the inside of my trunk lid that sure looks like a build sheet. I'll have to wait until I uncover it again to check, but I'll let you know either way. I don't really need a build sheet since I have every scrap of paper from when I ordered the car new in '02; dealer order forms, tags, etc.

Things are busy at work and the garage projects are piling up.

Interesting on the sticker. Post up a pic.

I need to take a peek in mine. The guy I met claims that some of the SLP guys would sign each of the cars they built. He told me he used to sign them on the transmission tunnel just behind the center console. Gotta lift that rug up and see if i find a nice surprise. Pics would of course follow if it's there.

Now that I've taken care of ordering most of the general maintenance parts i need.... the mod bug is hitting me again.... One part is thinking LT's.... another is thinking K member and A arms. ugh.....

now try running 1000 watts through them. People love to tout impressive specs. I had a volfenhag competition sub rated for WELL over 1000 watts. I blew it within a couple of months with an 800watt max amp.

I had a 2000+ watt rated Pioneer sub paired with a pioneer amp that pumped 1200 watts RMS at 2 ohms. blew it. now i'm running an identical sub at 4 ohms and about 800 watts RMS on the same amp. Pounds like a champ.

If you pay attention to any number on the box it should be the RMS rating. Try not to run more through it than that. Exceeding the RMS rating is FAR worse than exceeding the max peak from time to time. as RMS power is a constant load vs MAX which is an instantaneous peak.

EDIT: By people I don't mean you... sorry bout how i phrased that. I mean the manufacturers... the damn dirty manufacturers and their always inflated claims!!!!

EDIT 2: I have Pioneer components that are only rated at (I think) 35 Watts RMS. I have an INSANE PRS-A900 amp powering them and despite the low power rating they can and will cause hearing loss LOL

Well, I didn't do it today, but I have had a couple things added to the CETA over the past few weeks.

-I got a personalized plate that says: STRYPER (loved the band since I was 10 and it fits the yellow/black theme with the T/A)

-Installed Magnaflow catback exhaust 16723 with Quad tips

-Went to a concert in Houston and had all the original band members of Stryper sign my air lid.

As for today, I had to remove the battery(1 year old) and have it charged. I then had the battery and alternator checked to make sure the alternator was doing its job and it checked out okay, so hopefully the problem I was having starting the car will go away.
