Somebody should take his welder away for doing work like that.

No kidding the weld itself is ugly as hell. I know they can do good work ive seen a Corvette, Mustang and Blazer they did. All custom exhaust builds. Guess they just figure they would get a quick buck out of me.

FINALLY picked up my car from the bodyshop. Had a couple door edge nicks fixed , the front end aligned , the hood cut for my supercharger and the had them do the ceta mod. Time to get back out on the corner and panhandle for some change.

Looks great! I'll have to check out my hood to see what the difference is.

I left it sitting at home all alone

because it needs brake work and I am too poor to pay for it, and too unskilled to do it myself...

Thanks Jeff, every time I opened the hood there would be more rub marks to touch up and it was driving me nuts , this should take care of it.

Received a letter from the dealership that performed the alignment a few weeks ago. They are offering to buy our car for $8,740.00. That ain't happening.

First time I have ever received anything like that. It was good for a laugh.

My hometown dealership that i bought the car from is "looking for used cars" and are interested in my TA, (all computer generated), so i gave them a jingle to see what was up, long story short they said they would give me 6,500..... after the loan they financed me for 17.5, 5 years ago...

Well I can step you through the procedure of you want, it is easy. Let me put it this way when I had little to no experience working on cars I changed my pads and rotors, I had help but it was easy to do.

On a side not I just got the latch stuff for my hood in since I sold the old stuff with my ws6 hood. The ring that bolts on ti the center of the nose doesn't fit, can anyone take a picture of there's so I can see if it looks the same? It was listed for 93-02 firebirds no clue why it doesn't fit.

Thanks bud. I can't even afford the pads just yet so it's a moot point for now... I'm certainly willing, I've proven capable enough to change a water pump in the past, that's the most ambitious car task I've tackled to date. I actually won a 2-1/2 ton Napa floor jack at a car show raffle, jack stands are on my list of things to get next so I can start using the thing for stuff like this...

Got mine past emissions. First time with lt's. Frost's tune worked perfectly, and they never even opened the hood, much less looked under neath her. Now, I can put on my catch can, and have two more years to play......

    Yes.
    bunch of them

Well, lets see how to recap yesterday- Woke up at 4 AM, to drive 100 miles (skipping a time zone, therefore losing an hour to boot) to the wannagofast.com 1/2 Mile top speed event, only to be informed when we arrived that they were cancelling due to rain- Mind you, this event was postponed a month ago with nearly 2 days notice because of a FORECAST of rain. I checked their website one final time just before we pulled out, and there was no mention of cancellation. The were kind enough to tell us we could come back Sunday (today) and try again. My answer was screw you. Either way, here's what was not able to run yesterday.

Well if all it does is idle, I can see why they didn't let you drive. J/K! And yes I did finally hear the rev. Sounds mean, you gonna try the 1/2 mile again?

Nope, we're done with those clowns- Over a few beers after we left, serious consideration of the Texas mile came up- Who better than to get my ass kicked by than Kelly Bise, anyway, right?
