Done installing the power antenna. Also, my new Nitto 555G2's were delivered today. I ordered these tires from 4wheelonline.

Finish led using the 25 sq. ft. of Fatmat that I bought for the trunk, almost did all of it too. Now I have another 75 feet of it coming, along with a new trunk weatherstrip (it’s beat).

Gracie will get quieter, come hell or high water!

I am smelling some gear oil but I think some must have made its way on the exhaust.

Looked at my winter tires today, after 5 years, I think they are done, might just buy some Grand Touring style all seasons as their replacements

Ordered my rear sway bar from UMI. Going to be 4-5 weeks till it ships.

They're backed up from the BS virus....so I can wait....

Also ordered some tow hooks from CBRPerformance to mount on the rear to assist in tie down of the bird when the trailer finally comes in.

Man, you got that right about the BS virus. Watch, it will all be over with after the elections....And Trump wins AGAIN!!!! Sit back and watch! I got in some new rod ends for my panhard bar. Had to buy 5/8" bolts and will have to drill out the bolt holes, but it should make tolerances tighter and not allow so many rattles. I shook the body from side to side after I took the panhard bar out totally, and it was quiet as a church mouse, the way I'm expecting it to be after replacing the heim joints with the rod ends! Will send pics later.

"What did you do with your Trans Am today?"

I stood and looked at in disbelief after some ASSCLOWN HIT IT WITH THEIR CAR!

I will have to source a replacement mirror and also get busy with SMC repair stuff
to make good the fender right up to the point it can all be painted back to match!

I am bloody furious as the guy just shot away never to be seen again! Having said that
I would not be going through my insurance as I would have a big chunk added to my
premium for sure AND, for the next five years the question..... "Have you had any
accidents , claims or convictions in the last five years"
( do you guys get asked this rubbish)

Does anybody have any guides or tips for removing the fender as I will have to to do a proper repair!!

What a pain in the ass!!

Finally got off of my butt, and installed the Elite Engineering Catch Can that I bought.

The runber on the PCV valve decided to self-destruct when I pulled it off of the hard line; luckily I had a full PVC emissions assembly, new in the bag still.

Came with no instructions and I dropped one of the bolts when I tried to screw it into the head, finally got a new screw and washer and put it on.

After two weeks of driving, it caught about a teaspoons worth of oil. Not sure if thats average or not.

It is higher rpms that really pull the oil into the can. A lot more oil mist flying around inside the engine. On average, I may get an ounce or less out of ours after a weekend at the track. Sounds like yours is doing its job.

Stupid ABS Control Module is having one of its valves intermittently sticking. I tested the brakes and they are locking up fairly easy.

GM refused to quote labor on it, parts department said the part is $800.00, and that if the warehouses still have one (said that they showed them but he had doubts).

I’ve only found aftermarket ABS Control Modules for the 4 way ABS with Traction Control.

Getting the impression that I am forked.

    Sway bar can in early

Toe hooks on the other hand, order was cancelled. No in stock.

But found more issues. I swear my bird is a vindictive, jealous bitch if any other car gets attention.

The Tick MC has finally It has a life time warranty but it's such a PITA to get it out.....been dragging my ass in doing it because it means I have to clear out the garage to make room.

Bummer dude. I hear ya. If it's not a radiator issue, it's a panhard bar issue, or an oil pressure sending unit issue, or a rack and pinion steering issue. I've come to learn, that if you don't like working on cars, you should not have a TransAm!!!

You guys doing the Fatmat sound insulation, how much weight do you think it is adding to the car?

I have messaged Cpop about doing cam and heads for my car possibly this spring. Lots of money to save up, gonna try and have $4,000 ready and do it all correctly.

Fuel pump upgrade and injectors are in my thoughts currently as I am more than maxed out on both.
