Humidity, altitude, temperature, road material will all have that affect. Never heard of Cali gas as watered down, just heard it is highly taxed.

Pulling the steering column out. Unbolted the steering shaft from the steering knuckle under the hood, which took some hammering. Disconnected all the wires going to the column, of which some did not want to come out. Unbolted the column from the firewall, unbolted the hangers from under the dash and pulled it out. Can't wait to put the new used one in and not have such a sloppy steering wheel. After installation and a new used steering wheel, I will tear into the old column and see how much damage was done. Ought to be fun!!

Traffic is traffic. Where I live and where I work is always a reverse commute so I'm never sitting in it. Takes me 30 minutes to get to and from work whereas some guys spend 45 min to an hour and a half. Years ago there was literally little to no traffic. I could drive down the freeway on a weekday at midnight and have no other cars on the road. Now, I can hit gridlock driving on 880 going from San Jose to Fremont at midnight. It's ridiculous! Plus with housing and rent prices up but tech job pay, a lot of people are super commuting in so adds to the fun of driving among sheep with licenses from a cracker jack box

Stomped around as again the car's security system wouldn't let me start the engine for a few minutes - I'm not the only one plagued by that? Then finally removed some junk from the car. The vehicle (maybe as proxy for me) got complimented by a woman while doing so. She wasn't old, but she also wasn't attractive. Got seen and ignored by a few police vehicles despite a visible, unlawful addition to the car that I've been warned to remove. Pleased with the TA's driving performance at well over 150K on the odometer.

Found the lil plastic triangle behind drivers flapping in the wind, so I pulled it off so i would not lose it. What is best way to reattach? Looks like it may have been double sided taped on. Do the same or epoxy or ????

Double sided tape -- just wipe stuff down good with alcohol before applying.

Just ordered new clutch packs for the rear. Found out last track run I had 1 wheel spin. No wonder my ET's and track times have gone down hill.

Haven't put 10 miles on mine all year. Car just sits and sits and sits. Dumb hobby.

New clutch packs in for the Trac Lock on th rear and replaced the rear shocks too. Not like I had a choice.
Hopefully this fixes my traction issues at the track.

Had a hard start issue the other day. Pulled the plugs and found 5 plugs out of 8 were fouled out. Ordering a new set of plugs. Running break in oil right now and have a feeling it contributed to the issue.

It did that to mine too. My tuner told me to have 3 sets on hand when I came to tune.

Interesting. Plugs gave the tuner an issue during my tune. Ended up being because the installer used AutoLites. After like 8 hrs of diagnosis they changed them out and it ran fine.
I did get the POS over to the emission place and passed. Clutch wasnt disengaging on way home lol.
