    So far -

Carpet and rag top need replaced. Seats need a really good cleaning. Everything inside needs a good wipe down.
Needs a complete coolant flush. Was getting some black foam but it cleared out after a bit, not sure what that's from. Oil is clean and clear. Transmission fluid too. I know the t stat is dead so that's a priority.

AC needs attention too. Don't know what's going one there, will investigate it later.

No knocking, back fire, or smoke form the exhaust. Throttle response is crisp.

And the wife isn't happy I'm rescuing another f body
A 97, huh? You gonna keep that optispark or stick a LQ in there?

    Oh, right on.

There was an Air Force dude who I used to see on the freeway on my morning commute with a 97 V6 (sounded like he'd had a lot done to it). He always wanted to play, but I just never felt right about it. Most he ever got out of me was a thumbs up. It was a nice ride, to be honest.

    2016 Camaro SS - Summit
    2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM

Window motor replaced and fix kit installed, after much anger and cussing at whoever changed the motor previously... Holes drilled everywhere, but almost all in the wrong places. Holes drilled were garbage, frayed out fiberglass all over the place. One of the nuts was cross-threaded, we had to cut it off. To top it off, they decided "who needs these bolts" and let the window motor hang, so when you engage the switch, the whole motor moves up and down along the sprocket. So my buddy and I cleaned it all up, did this install correctly, and hopefully I won't have to do anything more on that door than replace the rear window guide that was broken, I'm sure in the process of the last half-assed install...

    Next, probably the alternator.

sounds like Frankenhack! Holy cow! Alternator has only a couple of wires. How bad could it be? "Famous last words"

I went to the local track on Friday and was killing it. Made 10 passes and won 10 times against other street cars.

1 Coyote, 1 4.6, a 5th Gen V6 with Turbo and a S10 with SBC and some mods. The Coyote must have been sleeping at the line cause I never saw him after 60ft all 3 runs. The S10 could cut a light like no other.

you must have missed my summer of troubleshooting my fuel pump wiring issues. Damn sending unit was working intermittently, At parked was fine, drove it around it would cut in and out at the most random and inconvenient of times.

Not my first time with troubleshooting the fuel system. In the end it all came down to the crappy factory bulkhead connector. But yeah gotta run all this new wire, do some splicing, get the hobbs switch in, and well....easier said than done

It's funny how they make it look so easy on those car shows isn't it.

How can something so pretty be a pain in the ass! I purposely didn't take a picture of the wiring harnesses I need to install and the old harness I need to uninstall

Knock on wood, nothing has gone bad on our car since we bought it in 2008. Granted, all the suspension pieces and such were upgraded through the years, but everything else is still working.
