All good! It's a tight squeeze but it works. Was worried about the bracket having to be spaced out and having to mess with pulley alignment but the bracket clears fine. On to possibly fabricating a mount for the coil pack relocation. Real estate is tight but should be done in a couple of weeks and off to the dyno! PICS coming when the build is done!

408 LQ9 that was custom build. Last cam was a little small for the amount of air I was moving so trying out this cam to see what happens. Block will be maxed out and the only thing left too do would be to send the blower in to Vortech to have it upgraded to a YSI-B and running E85 after changing out the ECU. ECU is actually next on the list as I'm limited to a 2 bar map and can't go 3 bar. Stupid 98's!

FINALLY ,,, woke the beast from it's looong winter nap Friday now that March finally let go of it's nasty grip well in to April. I need to get a battery tender,, it was totally dead -- charged it up and it seems to be fine though ,, a little air in the tires and off and running !!

I was able to finish up my power steering cooler project yesterday. Decided to fire the car up for the first time since putting it away. Ran the car up to operating temp in the garage. Big mistake. Pretty sure I gassed myself. Doors were closed, no fresh air. The fumes (and who knows what else) really got to me. Nausea, headache, dizziness...nothin' to mess with Bet I don't do that again.

For shits and giggles I showed my ugly bird in a local show mostly because it's a thumb in the eye to the Mustang Fan club that seems to try to take over every yr. Took 1st place in 90's-00's modified class. Beat out a 03 Vette and 00 Civic, the rest were lifted trucks mostly and a couple of Mustangs.
I don't give much props to someone that buys his car, does nothing to it and then shows it over someone that does the same thing but goes out and does some upgrades. If I wanted to see a completely new car I would walk a dealership. It's totally a different thing for a car to stay stock for 20 plus years vs one that's less than a yr old.
Am I wrong?Last edited by SMWS6TA; 04-16-2018 at 08:01 AM.

It's Alive!!!!!!!
Here's a link to a video. Base just to get the car started and warmed up but could not get her to idle because she was dumping waaaaay too much fuel! Dyno in a couple of weeks to get her tuned!

Dyno scheduled in two weeks. Gives me enough time to finish up the final things:
-Custom coil bracket to mount the relocation kit. Space is tight so mounting it above the intake where I have a little room left!
-New triple pillar gauge pod. Already have Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges and now adding in an A/F ratio gauge. Using gauge to fine tune the meth ramp up on the fly.
-Installing hood pins. VFN is floppy in the corners. Last thing I need is a hood flying off at speed!
- Waiting on new driveshaft from Strange. Had issue with the u-joint fitment on the shaft they sent me.
That should be it!
Next steps, paint, rearend, tires, and cage. This list never ends!

Allen what pins are you using? The ones I got are too short to use for how thick my WSQ hood is so I'm looking for another set that I could use for in place of the outer rubber hood stops.

Eventually I'll be putting a set of Aerocatch pins when she goes into paint and body but in the meanwhile I'm just using a set of Mr. Gasket hood pins. They are going where the hood stops are. I'll get a pic of it after it's done but eventually I will have the aerocatch's put in
