I see white stuff! So far, it hasn't been terrible down our way with minimal accumulations that generally disappear in a couple of days.

Just wash it when you're done. It's not like it's a show room car.

As to the topic of bad weather , fortunately,, my T/A hasn't seen winter driving since 2012 when my wife got her new car ( '12 Focus ) and I acquired her '05 Envoy as a DD. It's even seen VERY few rain events at all since then. It's covered in the garage and will likely stay there until the threat of salt on the roads goes away which is late March around here. Then,,, my summer-only tires complain about anything less than 40 deg. which puts me in April. I will be SOOO ready to get her out and cruise w/ the tops off --- bring it !!

I think it's awesome too. I guess I need to find a low Milage G8, to be named "George"!
She is definitely a car chick, she has a Shelby Cobra electric kiddie car, a Porsche Boxter kiddie car, and when we took my wife's Fusion to the Ford dealer for service she Beelined for the just released GT350 and said "Dee-Dees car!" When I point at Corvettes and ask her what car it is, she tells me it's "a baby Trans Am", I think that's hilarious, as I always though of my T/A's as a sort of Corvette wagon.
What really throws me is my daughter calls my wife's Fusion "Lightning McQueen", it's red but "Lightning McQueen"?Last edited by Whamhammer; 01-16-2017 at 05:45 PM.

Scott, I think its awesome your kid is in to cars and doesn't want to have her face stuffed into a video screen of some sort. Let her call them whatever her lil heart desires IMO. LOL. I myself have been a car nut since I was wearing diapers. I went to my 1st custom car show when i was around 8 yrs old or so. After that show, I took all my matchbox and hot-wheels cars and polished them up, trying to mimic the gleam of the awesome machines from the car show. Love at 1st sight I tell ya.
