Finished the LQ4 teardown to just the block. Now to begin saving for all the expensive parts that's going to go back into it. Also received some BTR SLR lifter for the build today to start off the pile.

Preventive Maintenance Weekend. Finally got around to installing the AutoTrix passenger window kit and over-sized gaskets for the parking lights. Also did the modification to the door panels to prevent cracking. Mission accomplished!

I was hitting the HFT liquidation sale (like that isn't always going on) buying more stuff that I really don't need and a couple useful things and while loading the stuff up in the car I had a guy come over asking me about the car saying he had seen me driving around often. So I chat with him for about an hour out in the parking lot and turns out he used to have an 02 WS6 and regrets quite badly the decision to get rid of it. Turns out that he has a '13 Camaro SS and is completely unhappy with it so he went out and picked up a 35th anniversary edition to go along with the 5th gen. He was going on and on about how he loved the way that my TTM wheels looked and he wants that kind of styling on his 35th along with how he doesn't really know much about working on the LS cars at all and after telling him what I have done to mine... He asked me to do all the mods to his as well. So it looks like I might be in the performance mod business now, haha.

Started with an Innovate LC-1, and then swapped it out for an Autometer a few years back.

Cut the trap door panel this evening, marked and drilled all the holes and then painted everything. Panel size ended up being about 7-1/2" wide and 10-1/2" long and it'll be secured with 10 self-tapping stainless screws. I will probably use strip caulk to seal it to the floor pan rather than weatherstrip or foam.

Hey anyone ever send their PCM back to Frost for some updates? I sent him a email weeks ago to find out how to go about it(paying) don't know should I throw a check for $50 in the box with a note and send it or what! I want to send it when I do the intake swap so it will be back when I'm done. Nothing on site about retune just info on mail order..

You will get charged for return shipping. Best to get ahold of him.

I've sent mine back twice. Just fill out another data sheet and put all your upgraded info. At the bottom put "Re-tune". It will be 50.00 plus return shipping of 14.99 for priority mail (2-3days). More if you want overnight. He's very busy this time of year. I was told he cannot answer the hundreds of emails he gets, the same day. It may take a couple.
This is just my experiences with him.
