I found a 20 amp circuit in the underhood fuse box that was hot with the key on. Then ran a fused wire into the car through the fire wall to the rocker switch. This way if I forget to turn off the switch, it kills the circuit when I shut off the car. I then got some black wire and ran the power wires for the nostril lights up the hood shocks with zip ties. When you take your 1st look, it's pretty discrete. This is the what I used. Part # NV5096R SKU: 9846672

Finally got around to fitting my pair of WS6 with the chicken, headrest covers bought from
Rubik818 off of ebay.
I never actually bought them from him.... ironically i bought them off of the guy who
bought my last TA off of me ( damn that woman!!!)
I read the thread on here about fitting them and it all seemed pretty straightforward and so...
...... out came the screwdriver and whipped off the seat belt bracket, had a good look, unclipped
the long plastic clip and started prying. MAN they are on tight!! Once you get it moving, if you twist
as well as pulling up it's not a terrible ordeal but putting the new ones on.....
In the factory they use a thin film of plastic to ease the pulling on but this is improved if you get a
sheet of black refuse sack material and pull it over taut. Then the wrestling commences
I found the best way was to hook it over on the center of the car side sufficiently so it won't ping off
(fine line with this) and then get your knee on the lowered headrest to brace it and REALLY pull and heave
it toward you and once it slips over even a bit, then the refuse sack plastic will help slide it down to the
bottom. ( pull the remnants of sack out at this point)
Once down it's "just" a matter of fitting the long plastic clip together and admiring the improvement!!
Now.... going back a bit, when i got the first one on i looked at it and thought " how does the metal rod of
the headrest go through this hole" (on the plastic clip)? After (wrongly) thinking i would have to take the headrest
right out i stripped the back of the seat apart and pinged the clips off to remove it totally!!! It was then that i had
a moment as irealised if the old came off then how come the new won't go on and looking
at it i realised the clip folds in half to become a U shape rather than a hole
So..... DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE!!!!!
It may have been easier if i had everything really warm but it was not possible when i attempted it.

Snapped a tranny mount on the way home from work. Just installed an energy suspension mount. They had it in stock at Advance ($23.00) 3 whole dollars more than the OEM style

Polished just about every piece of metal I could get my hands on under the hood...it's amazing how much that stuff pops once you hit it with some polish.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
make sure you label and bag critical parts like the oil barbell. They are a PITA to find and easy to get lost.
Also do not mix up LS1 & LQ4 front/rear plate bolts. They are different length. The plates look and perform the same function however the bolt area is recces on one, IIRC the LS1 plate.
I was also able to resale my oil pan & pick up tube on ebay for $75.
Still have the water pump unfortunately
