    thanks. It doesnt sound too bad, i cant even hear it at idle in that video

    I had the standard SS system, 2.75" I pipe with flattened over axle portion and sides flattened on portion running to the polished tailpipes.

    Ah, that would be the same system that came on all the other Z's and T/A's then, that explains it.

    The only difference would be the SS had the little chrome tips where as the Z's got the rectangular blacked out tips. But it's the same system everywhere else.

    The original buyer would have had to check off the optional SLP dual/dual system, which was entirely different from the cats on back.

    If you don't mind losing a a little H.P. over the full cat-back system then just get the magnaflow muffler and the tips you want, but don't forget the labor cost to install/weld the muffler & tips.
