    Header clearance

I have to ask if any one out there has any pics of the underbody of there car with long tube headers with lowering springs. I have strano springs but I want headers but not sure if I have enough clearance for long tubes.

I only have pics of mine with the car off the ground. If you want me to post it up just let me know.

I have BMR lowering springs and LPP Stainless Long Tubes and they don't drag often but it does happen sometimes. I wouldnt be afraid unless you live in an area where there are lots of uneven places you pull in and out of. It helps when you use the style clamps that texas speed sells that are more like flat pieces of metal as opposed to the regular clamps.

Kooks tuck up nicely to the underbody. Not cheap, but they are very nice headers. I'm not lowered so no pics to post.

i have sportlines and pacesetter long tubes. Steep speed bumps with grab my long tubes but small ones with barely catch the y pipe. The y pipe where the cats use to be hits before anything... LTs shouldnt be a problem with stranos

all depends on how well of a tuck job and what LTs you get. (you get what you pay for)
but our cars are low...dragging is inevitable in some spots. you just have to be aware. be careful. and avoid when possible

As long as you don't get SLP headers, you will have plenty of clearance.

I have a lil under a 2" drop with pacesetters and have only scraped once. Granted I take extreme angles in and out of places........

Agree with that. Avoid the SLP and you should be fine. I put my Hooker LT ceramics on with their 3'' ORY, I have 4.25'' clearance with stock springs on the headers. ORY is a bit less than 4", so when you lower it, you should be fine. My ORY has more ground clearance than my stock Y-pipe, fwi.
