Don't be afraid of a 230/232 cam. I'm sure you know that it's all in the tune.
It's not the 230 at .050 cam that I'm worried about. I have a couple of cars here with 250+ at .050 and they drive nice on the street. I'm sure I could get the 230 cam to do the same, I'm just not looking to make my 4th gen the fastest thing out there. I only run a 3400 converter in it and don't plan to go any larger. It's a nice cruiser, I'm not really looking for too much of a choppy idle per say either.
The lobe profiles peaked my interest. They seem to differ from Comps version of the cam.

Something is a tad different though because the lift is a reverse split for Futral and the other way around on Comps site. Prices are about the same.
Allan Futral uses Cam Motion lobes. FACT: His cams have on average produced more hp and tq on various dynos vs comp lobes. The F13 is about the perfect sized cam for a 346 if you balance out everything. That cam loves TFS 215 or AFR 205 heads milled down to 59 to 60cc. Ported FAST 90/90 with all the bolt ons and I've seen numbers anywhere from 460-480 RWHP with a great torque curve as well on a manual car.
