just go lm2 since you have cats on your car and if need be get a different muffler/ resonator with the monies you saved from not getting the gmmg so you can change the tone if you want. There i just made the dicision for you. Thank you Thank you i will be available for photo ops later tonight.

ill prob just have the lm2 muffler welded in.

Well everyone I ended up ordering a borla xr-1. I cant wait to see how it compares to the aerochamber. Hopefully I didnt make a mistake. Ill get a clip up after I install it.

I'm running the LM2 with LTs, ORY and a large cam.

sounds great, no rattle, or rasp.. I get many compliments on it. Plus the lm2 is lightweight for a muffler set up.

Rigt now im runnin OBX LT headers and a HF catted ypipe into a flowmaster. Sounds ok. but im looking for alittle more. When i went from ORY to Cated Y, the rasp went down considerably. So i think a LM2 should be pretty good.

ima fan of the LMII...you wont find many of us on here... most people hate SLP...
but with ORY and LTs...sounds mean IMO.
im waiting on motor mounts and new plug wires.. as soon as theyre in...im getting my exhaust on...cant wait very excited!!

I think flowmaster with LT's sounds mean as hell. LM2 would probably be alittle louder though.

well i bought a firebird for my first car. ive always been a car finatic...
but i totalled that and the insurance complany was rather generous...so with that money...i went a found me a guy who needed to sell it real bad. i was a little beat. but with some TLC...i think its a keeper

Mustang Gts are always messing with me...
had a 350Z messing with me on the interstate to Evansville..that was fun
and i had an older camaro z28...
and countless amounts of crotch rockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tossin' in my 'dos centavos". If you go to the Regional section under Eastern, go to the Harvey's lake/ Grotto Pizza thread. There is a short youtube clip on there with about 9 cars driving by the camera guy with sound. The first car doesn't count as it's a full blown pro-street car, but listen to the rest of the cars. The SOM 'vert is mine and it has an SLP LM1 on it w/ stock cats. I think it sounds great. One of the guys had a Borla on it and it was so loud you could hear him step on it from 5 car-lengths back with the windows up and the stereo playing!
