Im sure everyone could. I was asking to turn this into a pissing fest but since you started to feel free to go about it yourself. I was really commenting on where you said a crate ls6 puts down 380 to the wheels. maybe on some dynos because all dynos can be manipulated but on average they are 340-350 rwhp in a c5.

That's what I was thinking when I posted first. By the sounds of it you were saying 380 rwhp on a mustang dyno for a stock ls6. I may have mixed up the posts if that's not what you were trying to say. Cammed ls6 different story.
sorry op for getting off topic ! BTW were you alone when you raced the c5? I bet he blamed his girl for being too fat.. maybe that's why he lost lol !

I remember when the Z06 first came out in 2001 and one of the car mags did a test against a 1991 ZR1. At least I think it was a 91....lol Both cars were bone stock and the ZR1 was around 342 and the Z06 was within a few HP. The tq numbers were around 350ish I think for each. With the owners the ZR1 guy I think won but they didnt turn very good times....lol From what I remember it was something around 13 flat to a mid 13 so clearly both drivers were slow for the cars they have. Then if I recall I saw a 2002 Z06 dyno on a site at just under 350hp and just over 350tq. How accurate is left up to someon else. Its just what I saw for BONE STOCK CARS, not modded.
Oh and a friend of mine who owns a 2002 Z06 also owned a low mileage 1990 ZR1. The Z06 feels snappier out of the hole but the ZR1 felt faster once you hit 2nd gear. The Z06 sounds great but the ZR1 sounded even sweeter, especially with a Corsa exhaust.
With only 50hp and 30tq difference how can you lose by 6 but stay even with the other? Doesnt seem right with you staying with and passing the C5 coupe but losing by that much to the Z06. Good kill on the coupe, gears and some mods and that LS6 will be in sight.
