air filters combined?

Would it be an improvement if i combined my stock air filter pipe (which has a k&n filter) to the pipe with my cold air intake? which i was thinking would maybe give it more air with 2 filters. And i hate to have the box there and not be able to put it to good use.

I don't see any benefit. Your engine will only ingest what air it needs and absent a restriction in the existing intake piping or filter, there would be little to no gain for what you are proposing.
