Can you quit using zeros for Os? Looks ignorant as hell.

On topic, it would have been nice to have a decent V-6 option in the 4th gen cars, but I'm too hooked on the sound and torque of a V-8 to buy a fast V-6 muscle car

I like the way those sound, and they're pretty fast too, especially for their time. I was interested in picking one up for a while, but C5 Z06s can be had in that price range, and I'd rather have one of those I did bump into a guy with a C4 ZR1 back when I still had my Z28; no race but we talked a bit. Sweet cars, no doubt.

I love them both, but I would go for a C6 Z06 just to get that aluminum frame. With some work you can get the curb weight on a C6 Z06 down to 2850 pounds. Couple power mods and you're talking 600+ hp in a car under 3100 pounds with driver (3000 and change with me in it )

I like the ZR1, it really is a beast, but I'd rather have the Z06, honestly. Less weight, more performance potential. If I'm going to mod it up anyway, I might as well start with the least expensive aluminum chassis Corvette I can.

I know this probably belongs in the kill section, but its really not that big of a deal. It was the V6 version.

But it felt good to toast him in a 14-year-old LT1 Trans Am!! Hell Yeah.

We went from a 75mph roll, I threw it down to 3rd, red lined, slammed down to 4th, up past 100, and I had about 2 cars on him when we both shut down.

My car has headers, magna-flow cat-back, K&N cold air, and air foil mod (all done before I bought the car last fall).
Gonna tweak the shifter forks over a v6 race sounds like insecurity to me only thing the v6 would be getting from me is a fart out my window
