    mity vacing a clutch

    does this get all the old fluid out, or just any air/moisture out.

    im interested in bleeding my clutch 140k miles original fluid but want to try to get all the old out and new in.

    i dont think so, it would pull the seals before you got much fluid out. you could cut a hole in the tranny tunnel, and open the bleeder screw and run fluid through it to flush it. or jack it up and maybe be able to reach the screw. maybe.

    Correct. You can reach the bleeder without cutting the tunnel. Two man job though.

    MityVac is amazing for bleeding the clutch. Sticky up top on the MityVac bleeding procedure.

    two man? what i did is i put the mity vac in the master, applied suction and then went inside and pumped the clutch a bunch of times. it pulled air bubbles out, and like 6 strokes i was done. idk y i cut that hole in the tunnel.
