Time to start buyin go fast parts...
or NOS stickers to boost the hp like ricers. It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Dont be disappointed there are alot of fast stangs since there soo popular and lots of go fast parts for them. Only a matter of time till you run into a really fast one and there are much faster ones out there, as they say cant beat them all. What year stang was it?. When you post the vid let us know so we can check it out. Atleast your honest about it.

C'mon man... I've been seeing more and more of 'em in the last week or two since the weather has warmed up. They loooove beating up on me. Almost like once you make eye contact with 'em, it's on!!! I never give chase as I'm tired most days after work, so I see all vintage tail-lights. They get a big kick out of it too. But hey, whatever works, even if it's putting the 5.3L Yukon to shame

From what i got in that vid, once you hit your top end its pretty much obvious who has more power. I think racing on the highway or higher speed starts will help you out tremendously. I didnt think you lost in that vid as far as power is concerned he was just better off the line or quicker.

I agree, you guys were nearing, what? 70 or so, give or take 5mph? That's where our LS1s really start to shine!
It looked to me like all he accomplished was a better 60 ft' and was able to hold it to the top of your 2nd gear where it looks like you began to reel him back in. I wouldn't hardly call that a race, given a true 1/4 mile track, you would've been the obvious winner, but whatever

figured from higher speeds you'd do much better. The tranny kinda delayed your pull a bit in the first couple of seconds but other then that it was a easy pull. Good race and kill.
