99 SS vs 02 Z28 (REMATCH)

Rewind to October '09. Me and my friend have been wanting to run for while and we finally got around to doing it. We got 1 clean run in and right off the hit he pulled maybe 1 foot or so and by the top of 4th I got him by about a 1/4 car. After the run he ran his mouth about how my car was slow and that he'll smoke me next time.

So I was thinking that something was wrong with my car so I plugged in a scanner and I found out my O2 sensor was basically dead. After a longgg time of wondering what could be wrong he kept trying to get me to do a rematch, but I kept telling him "I'll give you your rematch once I fix my O2 sensor problem." He kept saying "Your scared to race me cuz you know I'll beat you this time" blah blah blah. He was basically talked all the shit you can think of.

Anyway, I finally fixed my O2 problem about 2 weeks ago and I was talking to him today about racing. He talked the same sh*t so finally I said "F*ck it, meet me at the gas station and we'll run." I gave him the runs he wanted 2 times and I got him both times by 1.5-2 cars. It sure felt good to beat him knowing all the sh*t he talked. We're good friends, but some times it did irritate me hearing him talk about how his car was superior to mine. My car seems to feel faster since fixing the O2 sensor. After the race he said "Alright you got me and you gave me the race I wanted, good shit." I

at least he was cool about it. and dont be worried about a z beating you. after all the z still has an ls1. there really isnt a difference between your car and his other than headers and intake manifold.
