What side of car are you referring to in regards to the sensor? There are no EGR sensors on the drivers side, there is a coolant temp sensor near the headers that is just behind the power steering pump. That does need to be connected. For the wire harness for the EGR, I just tucked it away as best as I could and wrapped some electrical tap to protect plug in case of need later on.

you just need to get some EGR Block-Off Plates. I've seen them for $20, I think some sponsors have them, not sure. But you may be able to make your own if you have the tools.

pm me if you can't find any

Wait if you get rid of the egr you need to disconnect the coolant temp sensor? I am installing headers and ls6 intake and getting a tune.

Its on the passenger side....... I see so you just tuck away and capped it. Sounds like a plan to me. Thanks

no, no ,no....many ppl that install headers for the 1st time forget about plugs like the coolant sensor. I was just pointing it out because it's easy to overlook and very easy to break. You can see how close to the headers it is in this pic and how it got nick.

Sjsingle1- that's the egr block off I bought as well. Kinda' expensive but I wanted it to look factory. Hit mine with some matte black to hide it. BTW- you do take some killer pics, what type of camera you using?

If you're talking about the metal plate that goes over the inlet, you can make those really easily. Go get a peice of metal stock from Home Depot and then use the EGR/AIR pipe that you take off as a template. Did the same thing on my old motorcycle when I removed the AIR from it. Took about 20 minutes. You can just reuse the gaskets and bolts that are already on there.
