08 Tiburon vs. 02 Trans Am WS6

Well this was a while ago before i got hit but i guess it might be a lil funny to post the lil story: Well this kid, his parents bought him a brand 08 Hyundai Tiburon, the kid was nice, but his friends kept talkin shit, and some of it i found quite funny, "Dude he'll smoke you, his car can hit 140" and to me i found it odd and funny because i knew his car was not mod'd and an Automatic, and they just kept ragging on my Trans Am, but the reason y they did this is cuz they thought WS6 meant it was a V6, they r the type of kids who love dem hondas hyundais nissans and that other BS. Well the day before the race the kid rev'd his car behind mine, and well i got a lil carried away and decided i might as well rev back, and he almost backed out of the race cuz he learned it was V8 from the Torque shakes @ 4,000 RPM but then his friends still talked shit that day still thinking it was a V6 but the kid he knew, and well we were both Automatics and decided let's do it on a take off, i said go on 3, i count 1, 2, He takes off, 3, and well i decided y not, lol and just slamed on it an gained a 2 car lead right at start with his early take off, @ bout 50 mph i had bout 3 cars on him and deicde well we're on a freeway i'll hit 80 n then stop, by about 80 it took a while for him to catch up with me stopped and well ya i pop'd the hood and almost all of em were confused, and i had to spend a little to explain to them that WS6 doesn't mean v6, n that Firebird's are stock V6, but a Firebird Formula is a V8, and as far as i know all Trans Am/Firehawks are V8s. All in all i found the race quite funny and a lil waste of gas, but it shut the whole school up i guess no one remembers when i had it the school car show i had to hood wide open so people could see whatwas in her ^.^

that's the only bad thing about our cars @ wot-the gas lol. nice kill, I hate it when misinformed cocky kids talk smack

The Tib is a heavy car too. Even with a few mods aside from FI no ls1 would have trouble with one that is stock. A couple of years ago I believe if I remember correctly they where only getting like 150hp out of their v6's stock.. Nice kill feels good to set em' strait..

nice kill. I raced one of those tiburons a while back. he had a s/c and was sprayin a small shot and i still beat em! those import guys just never learn i guess.
