The poster you quoted and replied to was redbird555. In the post you quoted and replied to, he specifically mentions the 5.0, which will be in the 2011 Mustang GT. There was no mention in this post of the 2010 GT, nor the 4.6.
Perhaps you meant to quote someone else?
BTW, I agree with the content of you post.

I have no problem believing we will waste the 10 stang but the 11 will be another story. I was just saying from what I've heard from multiple people and while I dont think they will be totally redesigning the car for 2012 lots of reports have stated the current model doesnt meet the safety standard and in that case weight will be added I suppose in suspension insulation air bags etc to make it heavier.

Bolt ons should make it damn close, a full bolt on ls1 car can make 400ish crank hp about the same as the 2011 stang and the weight will most likly be close with a slight advantage to the f-body. Everyone is excited about the new 5.0 and i am too but to me its just old tech as the lexus IS-F have a DOHC with dual variable valve timing 5.0 that makes 417hp and 390trq. By the specs and rpm range ford could have just copied that engine and called it a day and had the same results. By 2011 the is-f engine will have been 4 almost 5 years old. Ford should/will have a better aftermarket than the lexus though

I concur with most save for one thing to look out for. The the factory optioned track pack, which adds lower gearing and better hooking suspension. They can hit bottom 13's (couple I saw tested ran 13.2).
