Question you ever 1/4 mile it? I put a friends autox tires on mine and the tires were to much for my stock stall.
what do you mean by "too much for my stock stall"? If by that you mean does my car bog on launch the answer is no. And no I haven't ran a 1/4 yet, but I really need to b4 the tread on these are gone. i think they have a tread ware rating of double zero I hope they last till spring break lol
    here's a link to my tires http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-tq

Yah the autox tires bogged me then proceeded to upshift on me(left in drive). Let me know how it goes at the track if you make it, the track is different beast.

I've always been under the oppression that a lowered car w/ properly adjusted control arms would give you better traction...
if i recall, it seems that the 2000 had the 3:23 gear instead of the 2:73...at least my formula did. i dont know if they were different in the camaros.

Just find some Nitto's or ET Streets. You will have little issue from a dig with them as long as you have heat in the tires. Plus drop the air pressure for a dig run. When My Z was just 3500 stall and headers the only Cobras I had issues with were 03/04. If your doing a dig on street tires whats the point. With that said I do not get the point of roll racing. But hey thats just me.

I've actually got some DR's on already (toyo proxey-tq's) Even with that advantage though I'm still worried about a dig seeing as how he can rev alot higher than I can from launch.
and as far as the sr20 goes....i dunno what to expect

He is manual and your auto right? You should rape him out of the hole. I dont care if he revs it to 6 grand. Make sure you have heat in what you call the DR's and drop tire pressure. Your not trying to max out on rev yourself are you? Just use your foot on the brake pedal and bring the rpms up just a little. Make sure you have your traction control turned off. If you do all if this it wil be a joke. And leave it in D..

nah I'm not trying to max rev, but i've never gone from a dig wit these tires, I don't what rpm breaks them loose, and anyone had and experiences wit a sr20det? it has almost full bolt ons minus heads...I think, coilovers other bolt on suspension and fricken massive 295's in the back lol

OP I thought you asked about a 01 Cobra not a sr20det. What those came in the Silivia,180sx,GTI-R and Bluebird.

no your fine, I was just asking about opinions for both, the car that has the sr20 is a 92 240sx. I've never seen it from a launch or roll, not quite sure what they're capable of, that's why I was asking about it.
