    i need the part number for an oil sending unit car is an 02 ss im having trouble locating the part

    I wonder if there is a conspiracy against our cars. So many on the roads but the parts stores almost NEVER have this switch.

    Its because it is not a common problem. Most people only replace them when they break while changing the intake.

    Ah. Gotcha. I remember when mine went on the GTO and the "Service Vehicle Soon" light lit up while I was at a red light. Scanned and found out the switch voltage was low. The two I replaced on my last car just snapped and spewed oil on the transmission.

    +1 on that. I had to replace mine for this very reason. Although Checker Auto Parts had it (oil sending unit) in stock. But in the performance parts area it's all mustang products or should I say rustang parts!! How bout some LS1 goodies! lol...that will never happen. There's like 10 mustangs for every f-body here in ZONA........
