Not a whole lot really. It already had the Western wheels and turbo wing on it when I started the restoration. The engine is a .060" over SBC mated to the original Muncie M-21 close ratio transmission and 3.55 gears in the rear. We topped the engine with Vortec cast iron heads and an Edelbrock intake that has the lettering ground off. Exhaust dumps through a set of Dynomax ceramic headers and Magnaflow mufflers. I run a stock distributor with dual points, a one-wire alternator and a mini starter. Best guess is that it is right around 320-330 hp.

I guess you still have a matchbook in your tool box to set those points. Old school.

We don't drive it enough to worry about re-setting them!

Back to "this car hates me". Two weeks ago we went to a cruise in up at an area lake. Popped the tops and just had a great ride up and back. A couple of days later I head out to the garage and there is a puddle under the car. The not-so-old P/S pump took a dump and leaked all the fluid out of the reservoir.

Of course, no one has parts for these cars in stock anymore so I ordered a pump on-line from our local NAPA. I was hoping for the angled filler neck as the pump sets just below the alternator and there is barely enough room to pop the cap on the straight neck pump. Ended up with a modern pump housing, but it did bolt up without any issues and is essentially invisible. Corvette is now back in action so we'll see what decides to go next...

The car is a curse. Make sure I get it in your will along with the Olds.

I think the kids already have the cars divided up between them.

Last I talked to Sammy she wanted the TA. Zapper could pull off the Vette as he has the chest hair for that 80s gold chain Corvette outfit.

Even if I just get the Olds I guess that's enough.
