Huh
That's beyond deep, have you tried a wrench or a crows foot?

I just chopped up two 3" deep sockets and welded them

anything from autozone did not fit, even the "GM oil sending unit" socket. Found this one at Murrays

the one I have I bought at advanced or autozone and it worked fine. Pretty sure it's the great neck brand.

great neck are the ones i chopped. when i put the osu into the socket the hex pattern stuck out half of an inch from the socket. maybe i got a special long osu or something. but inside of one of the great necks was 2 5/8"s deep and after i chopped and welded i had them at 5"s. worked fine.
