i raced a few challengers and its a pretty fair game...ya the hp numbers are better than ours may be but that thing weighs a lot.

I already raced one..from about a 5-10 mile role, we both made a right hand turn on to a realllly long multi lane on ramp to the hwy...needless to say I was able to see what his car looks like from my passenger and rearview mirrors..but they look nice lol....

it would be a hands down race to the one driving a manual but with both automatics he might get you off the line but there is no top end in any Dodge.
my boss drives a rumble bee truck and he's done a lot under his hood while mine is pretty much stock and even with a manual he'll get a car or two on me off the line but about 2 gears later he looks like he slamed on the brakes it just depends on how long of a track you got. And if i was you id race him at a drag strip cause it sounds like neither one of you two has much racing exp. (no offence) that will help keep you guys from a ticket or wrecking.
Plus its a lot easier to tell dad when it was off the street

Your going to lose if you run long enough...... My friend has just an R/T auto and him and I are neck and neck. Now I have headers and take him barely but at the track this year hes going 13.2's all day and couple 13.10's just with an R/T....... SRT 8 brings on a whole new beast. Quick hint (there dogs off the line) Run him from a stop light. 20's dont hook for shit....

Car and Driver got the Challenger SRT8 to 13.3 at 108 mph in the 1/4 mile. So just numbers wise it looks like its going to be really close. But magazine #'s aren't everything, race em!

I raced one yesterday and u might wanna give ur buddy a length or 2. Like someone said before its a turd. from a dig i trashed him and from a roll it was kinda close but when i got to forth it was over.
