Yeah, obviously not married lol. Its a lot easier to get what i want, if she gets whats. And to be honest, i don't want to get her crap. She wants to be competitive. She likes burning ricers just as much as i do. By the way, in regards to this original thread; i'm seeking heads+cam+n20 for my next encounter. I should be getting my lid in today, and i'm also ordering cut-outs today, to be in next week. Also, what would be a good older car to drop an LS1 into (60s-70's)

So far..
So far, I have purchased a computer controlled Progressive Nitrous controller:
the HSW sudden impact wet plate nitrous kit
Fuel pressure gauge, and fuel pressure safety switch
Lid + High flow filter
a Quicktime Electronic Exhaust cut-out (not installed yet, thats going in today), and TR55 plugs, that i intend on swapping out with TR56 plugs instead. I have NOT sprayed yet, nor had any additional tuning past the stock tune. My intention is to use a resistor attached to a relay to fool the IAT anytime the system is armed to get my 3 degrees of timing pulled so i don't damage the engine. I also intend on spraying right off the line, at 1200 RPM, at 20%, then gradually increasing to 100% over 3 seconds. I'm still not 100% sold on my plans of when to spray, because i haven't actually run it yet. The car has barely 30k miles on it as of right now, and i didn't feel that wires, fuel filter, etc was in order.. Hopefully this will defend me against the SRT-4 in the future... comments welcome...Last edited by first01SS; 01-12-2009 at 07:12 AM.

I sure hope so. He says he's got some 1400.00 turbo now, bigger injectors, and some other crap. I'm really hoping i don't get embarrassed again... Also, if you know where i can get a IAT female, and male dongle cable, that'd be appreciated....

Remember you are RWD with an A4 and nitrous. Big turbo or not.... he is FWD. If he's running a street tire and over 300whp he is going to spin his ass off, even with drag radials. Launch him from a dig and embarrass him.
From a roll it's a different story. Let me know what this $1400 turbo setup is. What's the size and trim of the turbo, how much boost is he running, and what are his supporting mods. Feed me this info and I can give a a good estimate on what the car should be making power wise and how it should be performing. Depending on the size turbo, you could be in for a hurting from a roll.

I raced an srt4 in my and beat it by like half car but my friend gto lost by 2 cars, my is a 2001 z28 M6, k&n filter, ls6 intake manifold, and still trying 2 figure out the supercharge noise o running street tires spins in 4th gear. And the gto is complete stock. also the srt4 is omost stock he said all he had was a tuner.

there have been no mods to his block, heads, pistons, or valvetrain. Just fuel injectors, and no line upgrades. He works in a retail store, fortunately I have the financial advantage....

With my current mods, do what kind of time do you think i'll be at? If this isn't enough, i'll be placing an order for heads+cam next week..... also, i just got my cut-out installed yesterday. That thing is God's gift to men.
