Off idle surge issue
I have almost all of my issues sorted out on the Buick... except for one. This is our '87 Regal Turbo-T with the LC-2 motor. Only mods are a Kenne Bell chip, RJC plenum plate, 30 lb. injectors, wastegate set to 17 psi, and a Pypes catback. The car runs and drives great except for low speed cruise. When the throttle is pushed just off idle while driving, the engine will surge and you can both feel and hear it. At idle, and anything above the light cruise condition there are no issues at all. At higher speeds, the engine still surges in this throttle position, however, it is less noticeable.
I have swapped plugs and wires, verified fuel pressure, adjusted the IAC and TPS, cleaned the throttle body, searched for vacuum leaks, and hooked it to a scanner. Any thoughts?

Well... I met up with a guy that has a modded Turbo T at a cruise in last night. He suggested swapping back to the stock chip to see if the problem remains or goes away. If it goes away, it could be in the fueling and just be a glitch at that point in the rpm/load range. Only other suggestion he had was to double check the throttle blade to see if the air hole is obstructed or modified.
