We washed the Challenger and Jag late yesterday and overnight it started raining. I'll have a clean car for about 30 feet this morning.

*** The Where The H*ll Did Summer Go? October TRAIN ***
Gotta love how a $30 job turns into a $160 job. I found what I hope was my leaky transmission issue. Started out replacing the cooler connectors for the lines but when I got to the radiator I found it was cracked there as well.
At track test and tune night made it to the 3rd round of street tire class when I threw my serpentine belt just prior to my run. if I would have made it thru this round I could have at least come home with some $$$. Luckily I had just enough belt left to make it home.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/

Not an option. I have a 6liter block. I'm not pulling it to drill another hole to put the alternator back under the ps steering pump so that it can be kill by it. LS3 accessories are also not an option because of the same issue. I have relocated the alternator to the passenger side head like the turbo guys do.

I forgot that you had relocated it. Are you concerned that it might jump again?

Not sure why it jumped. It may have just been worn out. Been on there for 2 yrs now. And unlike with a tensioner it doesn't flex. Once it's tighten and lock down there's no give. So I'm thinking that over time it just stretches.

Gives us an excuse to go to H'burg. I'd be pissed if I had to trailer it down.

Yes, but I am outside the radius by 48 miles. I can trailer the car to Williamsport and they will come get it from there. I might be in range of the Rochester dealership, however, my license to practice ends at the state line. I try not to do business out of state for that reason.

Jealous of my son today. He's in the woods with my dad and brother while I'm at work. He may get his first deer before I do this year.
