Yes original frame with side mounts. You have to change the oil pan with the stock frame, several companys make them or you can do what I did and use a pan from a hummer with the 5.3. The pan sets kinda low but should be ok with stock hieght suspenion. You should go to TriFive.com and see what some of these guys are doing with these old cars...Amazing. ( that 57 looks in very good shape) you should see what I started with LOL It took 2 trucks and 2 trailer to get it all home.

Go to pimpandhost.com and set up a account to host your pics. Then click on upload images on the left and find the pics you want in your computer then press upload on the bottom. Then it will ask you to name the album and weather you want it public or personal. Then it will take you to a new page with all your pics. Click on the lower left icon http and it will give you options for pic size. Come back to LS1 and right click and press paste.

Thanks. I'll have to check them out. Thats always alot harder when all the parts are in boxes. It always seems that somethings fall out the bottom and go missing. Thats happened on afew cars I've restored in the past. But you know every inch of your car and are correcting any potential issues. Yours looks like it's moving along nicely. I don't know what happed when mine was raced in california in the 70's. We didn't strip it down. He just wanted it cleaned up a bit. So the paint is getting pretty thick now and I'm not sure how think any existing bondo is. But they applied the bondo properly or it would have fallen off by now.

I haven't seen those wheels in a while.
Is it a lacquer paint job?
Thanks for the pics. Not hard once you get the hang of posting them huh?

Not my choice in wheels but it's not my car and dad like them. NO, Enamal. I put a Monster Tach with a shift light and recall in because dad has a problem with wanting to overrev motors LOL I hit the recall the other day and saw 7200!!. So I installed a rev limiter and set it at 6400... 64 year old kid what are you going to do LOL sucking gas and hauling ass
