Black/Black- 2000 Trans Am WS6 A4
Will the 6L80E really help our performance? Or just gas mileage?
I know that GM is getting around to actually producing these things now... but I wonder what REAL benefit we will have if we swap from our 4L60Es... more shifting = loss of power.... but I wonder if the advantage of a steeper 1st/2nd gear, and the 6th gear for highway use would be worth it...
and I wonder if the 1/4 mile times would be better, or worse? since we already have horrible traction to start with.
A lot of drag racers have 3-speed trannys
