PO134 PO154 Codes
Hi guys i installed LTs about a month ago. I spliced my O2s and am throwing 2 codes, I used 16 gage wire to splice in the extensions. I also checked for continuity between all wires so I know I have good connections I'm going put fuel injection cleaner in and see if that clears it up. I did a search and read that might help. I also checked, there's no burn marks in the harness either. Can any one help me with these codes?
PS LSXTune Tuned out my rear O2s also

K guys I think what has happened is that I used the wire that jegs sent me on my rear 02s, put them in, ran the car, through a PO155, did a search, saw that this was a heater malfunction, so i planed on getting extensions for the fronts and doing it the right way. but then i thought what the hell, it worked on the rears so i spliced the fronts. I just grabbed some 16 gauge wire splice them in grab my vantage meter check them for continuity all was well through both of them in now Im throwing these codes what i suspect has happened is that the 16 gauge wire is sending too much ohms or voltage through the wire and causing a malfunction. tomorrow i'll put my rears back in and see what happens. my question: is there special wire that i should be using? also if my problem was the 16 gauge wire why would it show no activity at all?
Dose this make sense to any one, no one had this problemLast edited by WonFastWS6; 09-08-2008 at 04:34 PM.

I hope that you added to the SENSOR's side of the wiring and NOT your car's HARNESS side. It seems that often times when people try to lengthen their front O2s they end up with problems. If you are using butt connectors for splices, they are immediately suspect; you are dealing with only 450mV. If your connections are correct and SOLDERED, you *should* be ok.

Nice update. Usually when the code is for a heater problem in the O2 sensor, it is just that, an O2 sensor issue, unless somebody has done a botched wiring job.
