Swinging by the office for an hour.
Coming back to the ranch and gonna empty the shop and clean it out. Gonna be 75* today and the Vette is at the Chevy place, The GTO is at the Pontiac place. So today is the day to clean the shop with nothing in it. Loud rock and roll/Cold Beer/Brooms and stuff

You suck!!!
All kidding aside, sounds like the kind of day a man lives for!
Gave my daughter her first guitar for her eleventh birthday on Friday. It's a Fender dreadnought and sounds pretty good. Nice, warm tone. Now let's hope she's better than daddy!!! I though you might appreciate that.Last edited by jad628; 02-06-2007 at 09:32 AM.

Knowing you have daughters I can appreciate the irony!!!
The guy at SamAsh was very helpful, not pushy or biased. I'm glad I spent a few more bucks for the Fender. Like he said, unless she really gets into it, the Fender is all she'll need. I tried to play it, but I am hopelessly left-handed. Gotta stick with my lefty Strat and Kramer/Ferrington KFT-2.
I played the rythym from Molly Hatchet's "Dreams I'll Never See" while she "played" along. Priceless.Last edited by jad628; 02-06-2007 at 05:08 AM.
