Trustworthy engine builders to build stroker?
Hello everyone, I am deployed to Iraq out of Germany where I have a 99 C5 vette with a stock LS1. I was wanting to put a stroker engine in it when I get back, I will be ready to order one here in the next couple of weeks because I want it ready by the time I get there. My question is who builds qaulity strokers for a fair price. I have heard a lot of horror stories about guys buying engines that were garbage. I was looking at Texas Speed. I will probably be going for a customized turn key setup. I'm looking at 383's and 402's. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I also must have it shipped to Germany, I have talked to Texas Speed only about it and they say they did offer shipping overseas. Thanks in advance for your advice!

I checked on the shipping and its only about $650 to the nearest airport in Germany, not bad. I am at FOB Caldwell, about 12 miles from the Iranian border. When did you get in Baghdad? Did you just deploy recently?
