The Whole Idea Of Asking The Question Was Not To Have Leaks! If You Read Gm's Tech Specs, We Just Wanted To Be Sure They Were Talking About Straight Edging From Where The Trans Mates To The Back Of The Block, down To The Rear Flat Edge Of The Oil Pan. It Talks About A .010 Limit Here.

I used the bellhousing. I lightly torqued the bolts down to the block....and then set the oil pan on. Lightly torqued the bolts that connect the oil pan and the bellhousing down.
Then the oil pan should be 100% flush.
