So pacesetter headers...cheap...but are they good??? I need info on headers(long tube) and y pipes to get...but still on a budget

the headers them selfs are not bad but the y pipe's are junk.....

don't get the black ones the black stuff comes off and the headers will rust

Wow, those got cheap.... I wouldn't say it's a LOT better, the sound quality may be slightly different, but the gain difference is most likely minimal. I say between these coated hookers or the coated pacesetters, find the cheapest price and go for it. Are the hooker y-pipes comparable in price to the pacesetters as well?

I have both the LT coated headers and there Y pipe, i haven't had any problems with them and i've had them for 3 years or so .

They are very good quality headers especially for the price, ive personally installed 3 sets on 3 different vehicles, and the only thing that ive ran into on installing them was on my old 98 SS and all I had to do was mildly grind the tab on the side of the block on the drivers side. I cant say much about the Y's because I have always went with true duals.

im in texas too all i did after i installed my LT's and ORY was the mail order tune by frost which took care of the rear o2s and tuning. after i got it back i took the car and passed emissions. just dont let them look under the car! lol
