cold air intake by k and n or slp lid
im looking at an spl lid for my car and found that k and n makes a cold air intake but there is no lid just a filter where lid would be and one have an opinion on which is better?

get the SLP CAI....comes with everything you need including a high performance filter (sometimes k&n)....k&n is no better than any other high performance filter just has TONS of advertising so you hear about it more than the others

i understand that my question was more of it is it better with the lid or just the filter without the box like the k and n has

jus buy a lid off a forum for like 50bucks, slap it on and be done!!

more people have the SLP CAI or volant CAI, i havent seen to many k&n CAI's on these cars. people have them just not as common

For the power you get, I'd recommend the SLP lid. It is <$100 and most people get 8-10 RWHP from this easy mod. Great bang for the buck
