What type of oil is recommended for a 1993 Corvette? Synthetic or conventional? What came from the factory? Thanks for any help.

These are the Amsoil recommendations for your application, a 1993 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L P code.
Oil must meet GM standard GM4718M
Oil capacity - Engine oil with Filter: 4 Quarts
The fallowing Amsoil lubricants meet the above stated GM4718M specification. In addition the oil formulations utilize Group IV bases stocks so you can be assured that they are 100% synthetic, which equates to less internal engine friction and exceptional performance and longevity.

SSO OW-30 replaces other 0W-30, 5W-30 and 10W-30 motor oils and consistently outperforms competitive conventional and synthetic motor oils.
