Weird Shutter
Last few times I've been out shaking down the car after having the complete drive train built. In my signature has all the mods current on car.
So at low rpms (1500-2000) I get a shutter that is hard to describe. It's like the something is kinda binding or slipping but goes away if I disengage the clutch or increase rpms or load the drive train while accelerating. It's not chatter and I don't feel any "clutch slippage". Also no howling from rear end.
Any ideas? I plan on lifting it up and going over all the bolts to re-tighten.
I think I need to film it to show what I mean.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 06-10-2015 at 09:01 AM.

Mine does this also. I believe it's the horsepower and maybe that cam that causes it. Lol
But honestly, idk. I thought it was normal.

So it happens only when the clutch is still engaged, but stops when you disengage it? How much shutter exactly? A little or is the whole car shaking?
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Weird Shutter
Whole car shaking, like when you dump clutch at low rpm and not enough gas (like a beginner on using a clutch). <<Im not for the record.

Well I found my strange noise but this wasn't the feeling I was mentioning above.
The shutter I think I figured out that it's because of the cam load and stroke of the engine. I showed it to one of the local club guys and he said that his does this too.

Are you MAF or speed density?

I'll post a video once the bearing issues are fixed.

I am getting a shudder that acts like the car is loading up at steady state cruise. I have long tube headers and ORY could the o2 sensors or extensions be causing this issue some how? The car was tuned with HP Tuners by Midwest Street Cars. It started this recently so I assume the tune is ok. Any recommendations? It does clear up with added throttle but the police will only overlook so much lol

Our shudder was a MAF issue when we purchased the car. Easy test is to unplug the MAF (which will light up the SES) and see if the shudder goes away. If it does, first try cleaning the MAF before replacing any parts. Do you have access to a scanner that shows live engine sensor data? If so, a dead or slow O2 sensor is pretty easy to spot.

Sadly no but would take recommendations as I would love to get one. I will try the maf test on the way home tomorrow and then move to replacing the o2s. Thanks for advice disnt even consider maf

well I got a p1133 code on the way home today. didn't feel any loading like I have but I had the AC on so not sure how that effected engine loading. I cleaned the MAF just now regardless but would I be wrong in thinking this has to do with the O2 sensor or Extension cable?

I'd agree with that.

I guess switching to 13111's would be better than risking the extension cables are the problem so two new O2 sensors yay me. thanks for the help on this and sorry for the thread jack
