Black- 2000 Camaro SS
New Project: 2000 Camaro SS
Hey Im new to the forum I have a 2000 Camaro SS six speed. Its been sitting for about 3 years and I tried to start it every once In a while. Well now I cant take it anymore and its time to invest. Im on a budget and I have a pretty clean car to start with. 125K on her. Ive beat up on it a little but who hasn't. Im really looking to have a nice street rod. Ive had my fun at the track. Just wanna pay it back for carrying me daily for 9 years. Hear is the direction im in right now. Texas Speed Stage 1 LS6 heads w/ 112 LSA cam, LS6 Intake, QTP long tube headers and Y pipe no cats w/borla--(will I have clearance issues w/ proline springs?) For now stock bottom end and stock 10 bolt rear. Like I said Im on a budget. Upgrade to BMR adjustable torque arm, Trans mount and Polyurethane bushings which I have already done for the most part. I know its alot for a first post but Im ready to get this thing started!!!!!! Feel free to chime in. Ive changed my mind on stuff a hundred times already.

Lots of different cams with a 112lsa give us the duration and lift specs. I take it you are going to be getting an oil pump, chain, lifters to go with the package correct? if you want to free up money there are cheaper headers out there, here is a sticky on that.

Don't like eibach's for there reputation of sagging but I don't have personal experience with them. I have Dual 3" exhaust on strano's and it scrapes I just take nasty bumps at an angle. Ask away if you have any more technical questions and welcome to the site.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
What is the budget?
Being a m6, your 125k old rear end isn't going to enjoy those motor mods.
The more engine work you do, the more torque you lose through the garbage stamped suspension.Last edited by KMdef9; 04-03-2012 at 08:31 PM.
