Just did plugs wires- now ticking
hey guys, I just did my first tune up on my car, and now I'm noticing a small ticking sound coming from the passenger side..could it be a wire's not on all the way? or the plug isnt in all the way?

What kind of tick? Do u know where its exactly comming from. I dont see how plugs or wires could cause a tick, cuz there is nothing really moving or anything it could hit down there. Maybe u bumbed into your exhaust manifolds and they are a little loose.

if it were that, the only thing i could think of would be the AIR gasket on top of the header maybe needs to be tightend

The ticking I just took care of over the weekend was because of a plug backing out... it was backed out enough to where it moved back and forth, causing the heat shield over the plug wire to 'tick' against the head....I'd check everything on that side to be sure if I were you. You definately don't want a plug to blow out......
On a lighter note, it could just be a plug wire not seated I just like to give people the 'worst case scenerio', since that's basically how things with my car have played out so far

Plug not seated, wire not seated, AIR gaskets leaking, shorties headers leaking.
Thats about it

how you gonna get your fingers in there with gloves on, sissy. seriously tho, a loose plug wire on a high powered ignition is just like thunder and lightning only on a smaller scale, the current has to jump from the wire to the plug across a gap, hence a spark, hence a crack or in rapid succession, a ticking sound! that might not be your problem tho, just shedding some light on a possibility.
