air lid doesnt fit.
I have a 2000 pontiac trans am ws6. I just installed a tb, below, mafsensor, and slp air lid.
When i go to lock it in place it doesnt fit in the slots and hangs over the front of where it should be seated abnout a half inch.
i need to know if any else has had this problem. Also what i need to do to fix it.

Some suggestions: Are the tabs on the back of the lid seated tightly? Are the new TB and bellows seated back enough for the lid to slide back into place and line up?

It may be your bellow I had to cut mine for the lid to slide back far enough..also make sure the bellow is notched for the tb and maf you will see the tabs on them...a 3" air cut off tool works great, jut cut a little at a time until it fits

if you bought a stright bellow( not corrugated like the factory one) then you might have to cut it to fit like it was mentioned. I will disconnect the the bellow and install the lid correctly. Then put the bellow next to the MAF and TB and compare. If it looks like it is too long then thats the problem. Just cut as necessary.
